WTC Charity Golf Tournament 2023
In 2024, WTC hosted its second Charity Golf Day in partnership with major sponsor Regional Finance Solutions. The community rallied together once again, with over 200 players hitting the greens to support local mental health services.
NRL legends Josh Morris, Willie Mason, Wade Graham, Laurie Daley, Justin Horo, Terry Lamb, Fletcher Sharp, and Brodie Jones joined the event, also taking part in the Battle Scars & Footy Stars fundraiser the night before.
Across both events, an incredible $51,000 was raised to support mental health initiatives in our community.
After seeing the positive impact of the 2023 Charity Golf Day, WTC once again partnered with Boundless Psychology—this time, dedicating 100% of funds raised. The initiative offers up to two fully funded sessions per person, available to children, adolescents, and adults. No GP referral or mental health care plan is required.
WTC Group Managing Director, Will Childs, said the program was a direct response to growing demand for accessible local mental health support.
“We know there is a clear need for local mental health services that are free and easy to access,” Mr. Childs said.
“The response following our first event in 2023 made it clear how valued and necessary this support is for our community.”
