WTC Charity Golf Tournament 2023

WTC held its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday 4 November 2023 at the Narrabri Golf Club. The day featured over 180 keen golfers tee off in a four-person ambrose where funds were raised in support of mental health initiatives, a cause WTC is passionate about. 

WTC were thrilled to have the support of current NRLW legends Tamika Upton and Hannah Southwell and NRL legends Darryl Brohman and David Gillespie who were auctioned off for charity to play in the tournament. 

What started out as a golfing event aimed at raising funds for charity, grew into a family event with several spectators joining in the festivities from the clubhouse deck. The tournament culminated with a presentation, a live charity auction and a chance to mingle with other players, supporters, and sporting celebrities.

Funds raised have been dedicated to supporting phone and text counselling services offered by TIACs and to assisting Narrabri Shire residents in accessing crucial mental health services locally through Boundless Psychology.

WTC are humbled by the support of the community and businesses who supported the inaugural WTC Charity Golf Tournament and look forward to building on the success of this event in 2024!
